Blood Red Maple Dying?
I had a blood-red maple planted in June near a sprinkler at the foot of the hill. My gardener irrigation pipe broke and had to replant the tree. The tree was not doing so well all summer long - all the leaves were burned and fell. I noticed a few new leaves in the final draft couple of months. They are dried in a couple of weeks. The soil around the tree seems to be wet all the time. I water my garden twice a week for 5 minutes in summer and once a week. It is the tree will survive? What did I do wrong?
