When rooting a cutting Jade (stem or leaf), what is the best rooting medium and should be completely dry?
I took two cuts (around 10 July, more or less) of a plant 6 years old jade is doing well and dipped in rooting hormone and left them unresponsive to three or four days. Then I put in a cactus soil mix and directly from the bag and placed in a bright sun, but less of the window. Two weeks to spray the top land a couple of times each and one cutting rotted within a week. The other has been on the floor for over a month and no sign of the roots, while the court gradually wither. I feel I need a small amount of moisture, but I fear that they will rot. any ideas? I really want this cut to survive, because it has a stem on strike and form branches. the plant can absorb water without (visible) roots?
The cactus mix soil should drain easily, assuming you have the cutting in a pot with drainage. I would suggest that water from the pot and make sure the court is in contact with the ground (not air bags around.) It seems we've been doing things right, sometimes they do not only cuts despite our best efforts. Good luck!

Go to the root cause of hair loss
Baldness is not an uncommon sight among men. However, it is also true that the loss Hair is not limited only to men. It is perhaps because of this tendency of equality for baldness that men and women are increasingly interested in understanding cause of hair loss.
Hair cycle
It is natural to lose more hair in one day. In the normal hair cycle, 80% -90% the hairs are in anagen or growth phase. The remaining 10% -20% of hairs are in the sleep phase.
These hairs are preparing to be scattered to get thin at the catagen phase and finally fall into the telogen phase. This is not the cause of hair loss that we should be concerned because the hair usually regrow after a natural cycle.
Female hair loss
The cause of hair loss for men can be due to the greater of a factor. The most common cause of hair loss however, involves genetics and hormone levels. We know that at least 95% of hair loss in men linked to any other cause of hair loss, androgenetic alopecia, more commonly known as male pattern baldness. This hereditary condition in a bald area of growth in the top of the head and a receding hairline.
Androgenetic alopecia is the result of having too much of a byproduct of the testosterone called dihydrotestosterone (DHT) in the body. DHT can actually be beneficial in younger men of growth, but also much of it in the adults may be a cause of hair loss. DHT may be a cause of hair loss by adhering to the hair follicles, cutting off blood supply. Follicles therefore follicles begin to shrink, causing the new hair growth impossible.
Male Pattern Baldness
The female pattern baldness is actually so common that 1 in 4 women have the condition. The reason may not be obvious in women is female pattern baldness is not patchy of all the hair falling. However, baldness in women is characterized by thinning areas near the front of the scalp or hairline or in general, slimming hair on the scalp. In most cases, remaining strands of hair in women with female pattern baldness.
There seems to be no age set for baldness in women to start but like the men, the main cause of hair loss in women is due to genetic and hormonal factors. It seems that the imbalance of estrogen in women may be the main cause of hair loss.
Women who have recently given birth are prone to thinning hair due to erratic estrogen levels. You can only grow back lost hair once the estrogen level has stabilized again. Women are suffering, however, women menopause and hormone therapy may experience the most lasting of hair loss. Hormonal therapy with progesterone, for example, can be a cause of hair loss in women since the hormone blocks the development of the follicles.
