is flexible metal vent really need to be fully extended?
I'm using semi-rigid and flexible metal vents new electric dryer. The instructions for ventilation, said extending its entire length. My duct fits well in a fair and I have it and I would just go ahead and connect that way. Are there any major reason I should go to the trouble to expand it, then cut to length before connecting?
Leave things as they are. There is no reason to extend the whole way. I have the same thing in my house. He has been working hard for years.
